The Parad (Mercury) Lingam is revered as one of the most sacred and pure forms of the Lingam for worship. Parad embodies the essence of Lord Shiva, while the Shivalingam symbolizes His infinite and eternal nature. 

According to the Ras Martand, worshipping the Parad Lingam yields the same spiritual benefits as worshipping thousands of Lingams. Mercury, by nature, is unstable, but the Parad (Mercury) Lingam is created by solidifying mercury through eight stages of Samskaras (purification) as specified in the Parad Samhita. Purified and solidified alchemical Parad (Mercury) is considered the purest and most auspicious of all minerals and metals. The Siddh Parad Lingam combines the superior energies of Shiva, making the Parad Shivling divinely potent. 

The Parad Lingam is worshipped for prosperity, good fortune, luck, name, fame, high positions at work, good health, strength, progeny, spiritual advancement, happiness, abundance, and much more. It brings peace, contentment, concentration, dhyana, and support in Samadhi. When prepared as per the ancient knowledge of Parad Bandhan, Siddh Parad contains miraculous properties of healing and protection. 

This divine lingam can be mounted on a yoni base made of silver, bronze, gemstones, or other stone to symbolize the union of Shiva and Shakti, representing the source of all creation and cosmic balance. 

Parad Maintenance: 
Due to oxidation, the lingam may lose its natural shine and accumulate tarnish. To restore its luster, clean it with a silver cleaner or by rubbing it with a cloth.
