Basil Oil

Basil belongs to the family of Herbaceous Mint. Basil Oil is extracted from the basil plant. Basil plant has a natural fragrance which is sweet, unsullied and spicy. Basil plant is found in the areas surrounding Mediterranean Sea. It is used all over the world. It is the most sought choice for Aroma Therapy. Basil Oil has natural anti-depressing properties. It provides peace and pleasure to mind.

Basil hails from tropical Asia and the Pacific Islands. It is now harvested throughout Europe and USA. The flower color may be white to pink depending upon the species and it attracts bees in summer. Plant has hairy herbs that can grow up to 1 meter in length.

Usage:

• Mix few drops of oil in massage oil during body massage
• Add few drops of oil in hot bath water during bath
• Add few drops of oil in water and use in diffuser for lingering fragrance and relaxation
• Rub on palms and inhale or apply on body parts for relief
