This Shaligram Shila with golden patches is named Ananta Laxmi Ganesh Golden Shaligram and is auspicious for every home. The Shaligram shila represents Lord Vishnu and has been reverently worshipped since ancient times. Ananta means endless, which denotes Lord Vishnu Himself and Ananta is also a name of the heavenly Snake of Lord Vishnu, Ananta Shesha or Sheshnag. Lord Vishnu is depicted in images reclining on the coiled body of the huge multi-headed Snake, Ananta Shesha, in Kshir Sagar (celestial Ocean of milk). The Puranas say that Ananta sings praises of Lord Vishnu continuously from all His mouth. Goddess Laxmi is Lord Vishnu’s consort and the Goddess of wealth, good fortune, spiritual growth and abundance. Lord Ganesh is the epitomises auspiciousness and is the God of success, good luck, wisdom, intellect and abundance. He removes blocks from the path of devotees and blesses them with Riddhi and Siddhi.
