Description: Heart (Anahata) Chakra makes you friendly and compassionate and helps in fostering harmonious relationships. If underactive, you will be cold and distant and if overactive, you will be overbearing in the matter of love. The spiritual lessons Heart (Anahata) Chakra wants to teach us are about compassion, forgiveness, trust and unconditional love. Heart (Anahata) Chakra that is too open will lead a person into being too giving; generous to a fault. If it is too closed, it may lead a person into lacking compassion and empathy. One needs to strike the perfect balance between self-love and the love for others.

The Heart (Anahata) Chakra is the connection bridge between the lower three chakra’s which govern the tangible world defined by the body and the upper three chakras which define our will, intuition and spirituality. Thus, Anahata is the last of the human chakras and connects the power of Being Human to a Human Being.

A person who has blocked Anahata (Heart) Chakra will obstruct everything good that comes their way. He or she will be prone to sabotaging their relationships and careers through distrust, anger, and vengeance. They are sad and have a sense of being neglected, rejected, and overly emotional. They may become overly possessive and act like doormats for those they love, or they may be afraid of losing their independence or control over others if they rely on them. They have doubts, suspicions, and a conflict between their heart and mind.

When the Heart chakra is blocked prevents love from being allowed in, which results in the lack of self-love and feelings of unworthiness and self-pity. Out of fear of rejection comes attitudes of loving too much or unrealistic expectations from others like being the knight in brilliant armor or bringing the moon, etc. We often find attitudes of self-righteousness, blaming the other person, being critical of others, judgmental, and dwelling on the failures of past relationships.

An imbalanced chakra displays itself as possessiveness, jealousy, failing to see when a relationship is abusive and not serving the higher good. One may feel lack of self-love, feel unworthy and have an unforgiving attitude. Feelings of despair and depression, feelings of hate, envy, self-pity and disharmony happen due to blockage of this chakra. Such a person shows emotional over pleasing behavior or seems too closed and alone.

A person with balanced Anahata (Heart) Chakra is able to effortlessly manifest truly what they desire (and deserve) in life. They enjoy comfortable, loving and empathic relationships at home, at work and in their community, feeling a beautiful and deep connection with others. They display candidness, spontaneity, big-heartedness and trust.

A person with a balanced Heart (Anahata) Chakra is capable of true compassion and unconditional love. There is a healthy level of self-acceptance and compassion for oneself as well as for others. This person also desires a spiritual experience in all his actions. He or she is free from fear, hate and expectations, they live a trustworthy life so they accept others rather than feeling suspicious or controlling relationships. The physical manifestations of a balanced Anahata Chakra are a good immune system, healthy lungs and cardiovascular system.

When the Heart chakra is in healthy alignment you will feel surrounded by love, compassion, and joy and connected to the world around you. You will feel open to all experiences in life, and it will feel like challenges, especially in relationships, flow through you and are resolved with ease. An open Heart chakra allows us to see all of the beauty and love around us, and truly connect to ourselves, our loved ones, and the natural world. This chakra also helps direct love back to ourselves to truly be able to love and accept ourselves and our bodies.

When the Heart (Anahata) Chakra spins too fast, or is too open, the effects are that of distorted form of loving relationships, i.e. conditional love or possessiveness. It might also manifest in manipulative behaviour such as emotional withholding to “punish” or being overly dramatic in relationships. Furthermore, overthinking, certain belief systems, expectations, excessive craving, obsessive attachments, disharmony in relationships, and unfulfilled dreams made you lonely, unforgiving, feeling self-pity, co-dependent, suspicious, pessimistic, judgmental, and closed, resulting in a state of limbo and overall dissatisfaction with life. You began behaving strangely, despising yourself, your life and others.

The blocked heart chakra prevents love from being allowed in, which results in the lack of self-love, and feelings of unworthiness and self-pity. Out of fear of rejection, comes attitudes of loving too much, or unrealistic expectations like the knight in shining armour etc. We often find attitudes of self-righteousness, blaming the other person, judgmental, and dwelling on the failures of past relationships. Emotional states include being unforgiving, still being stuck in anger at past betrayal, fear of intimacy, loneliness, depression and grief.

A person with an underactive Anahata appears to be distant and cold to others. In this low Heart energetic mode, there is a lack of empathy and compassion with both self and others. You may carry repressed emotional wounds and continue to hold on to bitterness, sorrow and heartache. You do not trust others and you might be often judgmental, critical, skeptical and intolerant.

Physical manifestations of imbalanced Heart (Anahata) Chakra include all the heart conditions such as congestive heart failure, palpitations, high blood pressure etc. The same applies to any condition of the lungs such as bronchial pneumonia, tuberculosis, asthma, lung cancer and breast cancer as well as allergies and chest congestion, blood circulation problems, immune system deficiency or tension between the shoulder blades.

When you stop expecting certain behavior from others, then you free yourself to feel and see more clearly. You start to observe what they actually do, instead of constantly seeing the gap between what they do and what you want them to do. As a consequence, when you see more clearly, you can respond more effectively, and handle others more realistically, from a place of unconditional love instead of trying to control how others should be.

You often cling to things, situations or people because they make you feel happy, safe and comfortable. Nevertheless, contemplate that even new things, situations and people may give you the same feelings. Thus, letting go of past attachments and opening your heart to new possibilities should always be remembered because it has been happening since your childhood during all your life and will continue to happen whether you look for it or not.

Let go of the need to know. Uncertainty is a part of life, no matter how strong your intentions are. Becoming obsessed about tomorrow is a waste of time since there will always be a tomorrow. There are no promises on how it will play out. Just keep in mind that it all depends on how well you live now. Make peace with the moment as it is, without worrying about the outcome. Let go of the need to know everything in advance and accept uncertainty.

Remember nothing is “yours” but it pertains to the Universe to which you are playing part of it. Let go seriousness about bonding knowing that everything is inter-connected in the same universal web, nobody is alone and attachment thus is only an illusion of your mind.

Specific Rudraksha and gemstones when worn as per RRST give the required frequency and color to the Anahata chakra to balance it. Once the chakra is balanced, physical and emotional symptoms disappear and the wearer is empowered to find his life purpose and face life with renewed energy and vigor. symptoms disappear and the wearer is empowered to find his life purpose and face life with renewed energy and vigor.

Some crave love while others consciously try and stop love from entering their lives. When our heart has been wounded we have a tendency to put up a wall around it, thinking ‘if I don’t let love in, then it can’t hurt me’. However, it was never love that hurt you. It was the experience of being abandoned, betrayed or abused. Putting up a wall ironically often serves to attract that kind of experience again, acting like a magnet for those who don’t want a genuine heart connection. All of us need a heart -to-heart connection to blossom.

Other times, we build a wall because we don’t want others to see the real us, afraid that if they do, they will flee, so convinced are we of our flaws. True intimacy, on the other hand, necessitates self-awareness. When you learn to love and accept yourself exactly as you are, you will realize how sad it is to keep your beautiful light hidden from the world, and you will become less afraid (and one day not at all) to show your Self in order to express and build great relationships.
