Description

Armoise Oi has powerful fragrance, somewhat green and bitter sweet. On removing the moisture, Armoise Oil is very soothing, tea like and herbaceous. Armoise Oil is a colorless liquid. The leaves have an antibacterial quality and also known as diuretic, haemostatic and stomachic. In Aroma Therapy its aroma decontaminate the atmosphere and it act as a deterrent against several insects and pests. It also uses insomnia.

The name Armoise was derived from Artemisia, the sister and wife of the Greek/Persian king Mausolus, after his death in 353 BC. During ancient times, Armoise is used as a remedy against intestinal worms, and thus it is named as wormwood. During historic times Armoise Oil was used in herbal medicines to improve digestive system, to treat menstrual complaints, and for the treatment of worms. Diluted Oil is used to destroy insect larvae. In Nepal, leaf of Artemisia is used to stop nosebleeds by putting it into nostrils.
