Ashtavinayak the name means eight Ganeshas. Ashtavinayak are eight forms of Lord Ganesha seated in different positions in eight sacred temples. Together Ashtavinayak are worshiped for overall growth and well-being. Lord Ganesh is worshiped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. Ganesh is the God of wisdom who removes obstacles from one’s path. He is worshipped for siddhi, success in undertakings and buddhi (intelligence). He is worshiped before any venture is started. He is also the God of education, knowledge and wisdom, literature and the fine arts. Lord Ganesha has all the five elements under His control. He is the embodiment of all potencies. He has no superior above Him. He is the PranavaSwarupa -embodiment of Aum. Hence, the first prayer is always addressed to Him.

You may connect with the priest during the puja (video or phone call) on WhatsApp or Skype and watch the rituals live. Puja Tokri having prasad, energized Rudraksha, silver tabeez and yantra would be sent along. Rudra Centre priests will perform Ashtavinayak Puja as per Vedic rituals based on birth details.
