Description
A Gajalaxmi Idol beautifully carved on natural Black Shaligram stone will enthral all devotees. The Shaligram is a self manifest stone found only in the banks of Kali Gandaki River, Nepal and is worshipped as the representation of Lord Vishnu. Keeping the Shaligram stone at home corrects Vastu Doshas and brings auspicious energies. The Gajalaxmi Idol depicts Goddess Laxmi sitting on a Lotus in Padmasana, Her lower right hand is raised in the blessing Mudra and Her left lower hand is in the Varada Mudra which bestows boons and fulfils wishes of the devotees. Two Gaja or Elephant heads are seen on both sides of Goddess Laxmi, with raised Trunks. The detailed carving of Maa Laxmi’s smiling face, jewellery etc. looks mesmerizing. The Gajalaxmi is specially worshipped for blessings of wealth, money, material contentment and abundance.
It is believed that both Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi, His consort, resides in the natural Shaligram stone.
