This Shaligram Shila has golden streaks and markings and is named Krishna Paduka Varaha Kalki Golden Tilak Shaligram Shila. The Shaligram Shila represents Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the Universe. The sacred Shaligram Shila is a self-manifested stone found in Kali Gandaki river and is very powerful. Krishna Paduka denotes the impression of Lord Krishna’s Lotus feet. Lord Krishna is the 8th. Avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that there is no difference between Lord Vishnu and Shri Krishna. Varaha is the wild Boar Avatar of Lord Vishnu who is depicted with the head of a wild boar and body of human. He had saved the earth from being destroyed by the Demon Hiranyaksha, after battling with him for thousands of years. He blesses devotees with security, protection, abundance. Kalki is the 10th Avatar of Lord Vishnu who will incarnate at the end of Kali Yug to cleanse the earth of sins and re-establish Dharma.
