Lord Krishna standing on Lotus and playing flute is meticulously carved in natural Shaligram stone. In this stone, Krishna poses in crossed leg position with His cow, the Surubhi standing at His back. The fine carvings illustrate the jewels and clothing of Krishna while the natural coarse texture and exotic black colour gives the divine idol a rich antique appeal. The naturally formed spiral pattern of Shaligram is seen at the back. Lord Krishna playing flute represents the act of creation.
