Description

Mansa Devi Temple is located at Haridwar, Uttarakhand on top of the Bilwa Parvat. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa, one of the incarnations of Goddess Durga. The name Mansa is derived from the word Mansha meaning wish. Thus Mansa Devi Temple is revered as a Siddh Peetha (where wishes of devotees are fulfilled). Goddess Mansa fulfills all the wishes of her true devotees. The Mansa Devi Temple has two idols of Goddess Mansa, one with three mouths and five arms and the other with eight arms.
