Description

The Heera Shankh is a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi and is a rare right handed Conch shell, Dakshinavarti Shankh. This lovely Heera Shankh is named Vishwambhara, meaning, the Goddess who wears the Universe as a cloth, which indicates an aspect of Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of prosperity, wealth and good fortune. Unlike other Conch Shells the Heera Shankh is found in mountains and bears beautiful deposits of crystalline minerals of various colours, that shine like Diamond, which has given this unique Shankh the name Heera(Diamond). The Heera Shankh is installed to draw wealth, prosperity, success, growth, material pleasures, love, fertility, crops, food and happiness. The Vishwambhara Heera Shankh can be kept at home or office, in Puja alter, living room, work table, by following the specified directions of placement.

The Heera Shankh is a fossilized Conch shell found in the mountains in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and sparingly in the rocks of the Indian Ocean. Mythology narrates that Goddess Lakshmi appeared during the time of Samudra Manthan, the churning of the Celestial Milky Ocean and so did the Conch shells. It is said that the mountains where Heera Shankh is found were at one time below the Ocean and rose above it across ages and the Conch shells fossilized over thousands of years.
