Muladhara Chakra or the Root Chakra is the first Chakra which is located at the base of the spine. This Chakra is associated with the earth element and is directly related to our symbolic roots – their depth, strength and support. This chakra symbolizes our grounding or core survival issues such as food, shelter, money, security and family. It is also our anchor to the earth and connects us to the earthly and physical survival.
