This meticulously carved idol features Lord Balrama made in sacred Shaligram stone. Lord Balrama is featured in standing pose holding a mace in His right hand representing mental and physical strength. He holds the Balachita plough in His left hand while resting it on back of His neck representing fertility of land. He is decked in jewels and stands on a platform with lotus petal carving. The idol due to natural black colour looks truly divine and exotic. Lord Balrama is God of agriculture and personifies strength, knowledge and courage. He is the sibling of Lord Krishna and Subhadra, Who are divine triad of Jagganath tradition. Lord Balrama is ideally worshipped for power, knowledge, prosperity, strength and success in agriculture.
