Ganesh Chalisa is powerful devotional hymn of 40 verses in Awadhi language that glorifies and venerates Lord Ganesha. The hymn was completed by Sundaradasa in Vikrama Samvat in the month of Bhadra. Ganesh Chalisa is one of the most preferred text to be chanted to worship Lord Ganesha and before undertaking any new work or venture. Lord Ganesha is the God of intelligence, wisdom, intellect and knowledge. His is also the Lord of auspicious beginnings who blesses His devotees with riddhi, siddhi and buddhi. Puja Tokri having prasad, energized Rudraksha, silver tabeez and Ganesh yantra would be sent along. Priests will perform Ganesh Chalisa Paath as per Vedic rituals based on birth details.
