Description
Guggul is gummy resin of flowering plant found commonly in India, Central Asia and Northern part of Africa. It is also known as Indian bdellium, Mukul myrrh and Commiphora wightii. Because of its exotic fragrance it is used in perfumes and incense and also is used as Dhoop to offer it’s smoke during puja. It is also used as medicine in Ayurveda for treating arthritis, obesity, swelling, ulcers and tumors. It is also helpful in treating urinary, liver and intestinal related ailments.
