Description
Neem is one of those trees who’s every part i.e. including bark, leaves, branches, fruit, roots, flowers, etc. is beneficial. It is an evergreen tree which has its branches spread all over. It is a very densely crowned tree and may reach to a radius of 15 to 20 feet. The trunk is relatively straight with bark being thick and rough with whitish to reddish brown in appearance.
Commonly known as Margosa tree in English, this tree is revered and worshipped in India and can be found at almost every corner of this country.
Application:
Neem has anti bacterial, anti parasitic, anti fungal, anti protozoal and anti viral properties. It is very effective in preventing any sort of infections and is also helpful to treat cut or wounds. Skin ailments such as eczema, acne, skin allergy.
