Mata Vaishno Devi Chalisa is a devotional hymn of 40 verses dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi. Mata Vaishno Devi was born as Vaishnavi, She was directed by Lord Rama to meditate at the Trikuta Hills. There She meditated in a cave where Lord Hanuman protected Her.
