The Shaligram Shila is considered sacred as it represents Lord Vishnu and worshipping it with sincerity can liberate the soul. This Shaligram Shila is named Vaman Parshuram Krishna Mahavishnu Shaligram and is beneficial for all aspects of life. Vaman is the fifth Avatar of Lord Vishnu, the dwarf incarnation, who covered the whole earth in two steps and with the third step He sent King Bali to ‘patala’ (netherworld), who had underestimated the Lord Vaman because of His size. Lord Vamana removes difficulties of devotees and bestows success, prosperity, name, fame and is also worshipped to retrieve lost property or land. Parshuram is the 6th Avatar of Lord Vishnu, and is known as the Sage warrior incarnation. He is always depicted with an Axe, which was gifted to Him by Lord Shiva and is known for His anger and aggression in removing sinners from earth. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Lord Krishna, who is reverently worshipped and adored by devotees. From the time He was born Lord Krishna graced the world with miracles, enhanced the collective consciousness, showed the path to Dharma and devotion. Mahavishnu is the Universal form of Lord Vishnu, who encompasses everything that exists, an epithet used to describe that everything was born out of Him. The Shaligram Shila is endowed with high vibration frequency which removes Vastu Dosha and shields the dwelling.
The Shaligram Shila is a self-manifested stone found in the Kali Gandaki river, Nepal, and can be worshipped without the ritual of Pranprathista (consecration). The Shaligram Shila is worshipped by performing the sacred bath, Abhishek, with water and Tulsi leaves and Panchamrit, which is a mixture of Cow Milk(without boiling), Curd, Ghee, Honey, Sugar.
