Pret Dosh, also known as Bhoot Pret Badha Dosh, is a malefic dosha which, when present in the birth chart, it harms the native both physically and mentally. There are a few combinations of planets that may cause the Pret Dosha in a Kundli. Inauspicious placement of planets Saturn, Rahu, or Ketu unfavorable combined, especially in the 7th house, causes the Pret Dosh. Also, when Rahu is placed in conjunction with the Moon and any malefic planet is placed in the 5th or 9th house simultaneously, the natal chart is said to be afflicted with Pret Dosha.
