Maa Annapurna Devi is one of the manifestations of Goddess Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva. She is the nourisher of all Her devotees. In some parts of India especially in Eastern Indian states Shree Annapurna Puja is considered as one of the most important pujas. Once Maa Parvati in order to prove her credibility in providing food to living beings, went to Kashi as Annapurneshwari Devi, separating Herself from Lord Shiva. Due to her absence Lord Shiva starved for some time and it became difficult for Him to live without Maa Parvati. It was then when He realized that the main creator of world’s nourishment and food is Goddess Parvati, the Mother Goddess. Thus, He visited Kashi and prayed to her for food. Maa Annapurna Devi puja is observed with great devotion mainly in parts of West Bengal. During Shukla paksha of Chaitra month this puja is observed in accordance to the traditional Hindu calendar. Shree Annapurna Devi is worshipped mainly by women. It is believed that devotees who worship goddess Annapurna with utmost faith are nurtured with health and abundance.

Puja service includes: Kalash Sthapana, Panchang Sthapana (Gauri Ganesh, Punyavachan, Shodash Matrika, Navgraha, Sarvotabhadra), 64 yogini Pujan, Shetrapal Pujan, Swasti Vachan, Sankalpa, Ganesh Pujan and Abhishek, Navgraha Pujan and 108 chants of each planetary mantra, Invocation of major Gods and Goddesses in Kalash, Maa Annapurna Devi Puja, Mantra Japa, Havan and aarti.
A short Video of the Sankalpa and mantra chanting would be sent to you along with the photographs of the Puja ritual. You may connect with the priest during the puja (video or phone call) on WhatsApp or Skype and watch the rituals live. Puja Tokri having prasad, energized Rudraksha, silver tabeez and yantra would be sent along. Rudra Centre priests will perform Shree Annapurna Puja as per Vedic rituals based on birth details.
